Your home inspector cannot turn on utilities, open valves, or flip breakers. Make sure all utilities are turned on (water, gas, electricity). We recommend appliances like water heaters should be on for at least 24 hours before the inspection so these items can be properly assessed. Speak to your agent to be sure.

Are there any outbuildings present?

NOTE: An outbuilding is a building that is not attached to the home, such as a detached garage, car port, or pole shed. An attached garage is not an outbuilding and is considered part of the home.

Does the outbuilding have electrical?
